Chapter Two

637 Words
Chapter two Oliver’s POV There is nothing interesting in my life. I think I should really date someone but it just doesn’t sit right with me. As I walked in the café Betty hugged me again. For me it is a little bit weird for me because Betty and me, we aren’t friends so hugging doesn’t seem appropriate. As we were talking a customer comes and orders iced americano with two spoons of sugar. He wasn’t a regular but it seemed like I have seen him somewhere but couldn’t wrap my head around. I remember his order because it is the drink that I usually drink in the morning. I didn’t give any thought to it maybe it was a coincidence. As I was leaving for my apartment, I got a text from the greatest person. *Lucas: Hey babes!! So as I promised you that I would take you to the club i work. We are going in 2-3 days.* *Me: That’s great!! I am so excited to finally see your crush.* It is Sunday, exactly 2 after we talked. I am a little nervous. I start to pick my skin around my fingers while choosing my clothes for the day. At last I settled to wear fitted jeans with a black silk shirt. I still had a lot of time left until meeting with Lucas. I took a long shower. After wearing my clothes I started to wear my favorite pair of black sneakers, with some rings a necklace and I wore some earrings and I was ready. While going to Lucas’s apartment I kept wondering what type of club it was. When we reach the club that’s when I realized that it is close to his apartment. Lucas straight goes to do his work and I wander around the area and it looks pretty luxurious but that is how clubs are meant to look like. I sit in one of the stools at the bar counter and order a drink. That’s when he comes and starts flirting with me. Sometimes Lucas flirts like there is no tomorrow but it is fine with me. “Hey, I just noticed a guy looking towards us for a long time. I guess you will find yourself a man or woman to take home.” Sometimes Lucas acted like my mother. “Don’t worry about me!” I grabbed his hand and moved it violently. “Show me the man that has occupied your mind and heart I guess!!” “He has! There he is, the one sitting with the man staring at you.” He said while pointing with his eyes. “And how do you know he is staring at me. Now that I have seen his face clearly, I think I have seen him from somewhere. I just don’t remember.” “There is no need to remember someone, I bought you here to forget everything on remember.” I am so tired from dancing all night but in fact I didn’t sleep with anyone like Lucas mentioned. Nonetheless it was a fun night. As I enter my kitchen to find some water I see the laundry closet open and there was clean, fresh laundry in the dryer. I don’t remember doing any laundry. I have no idea how this happened but then again it could have been me but I don’t remember. I began to feel comfortable in my bed and my mind wandered to the man at the club. I get it few days ago the same man ordered the coffee which felt a little eerie but could be a coincidence. Him being at the club and café makes sense but I feel like I know this person but at the same time I feel like I know nothing. Where did we met?
