Lucien’s POV
I had been watching her for a few hours now. Since the moment she transformed and I saw her wolf form for the first time, Shadow was restless. It felt like the pull we had was more. We only locked eyes for a few minutes before she ran off for what was needed.
I understood this. Everyone did this, but it felt like it was a new thing now that she was the one to run off. I wanted to speak with her and be with her. I knew I loved her and I also knew it had nothing to do with the white wolf.
It took me a while, but I have realized my feelings for her. It started from the very moment I saw her. I felt the pull. I felt my heart act out, but I stopped myself from understanding this feeling because I did not want to get married to a human.
I thought she was going to weaken the pack
