“Good morning, Ma’am Bella,” Sara greeted me with a bright smile. She was Ms. Lupe's daughter—sixteen, in high school, according to Enzo. I’d asked him for a rundown of who I’d be sharing the house with. He’d left that morning without introducing me to the staff as his wife. It stung. But I couldn’t force his hand.
