Chapter 10 Carol Lynne Sarah opened her door and placed a finger on her lips in a shushing gesture. I played along and tiptoed into her magnificent apartment. This place struck me every time I came. The windows spanned floor to ceiling, let so much light in. Red-bricked walls gave it a lofty feel, and the beams and flooring added elegance. Reese scored big time when he bought it. Sarah and I stood in her entranceway, hugging for a while. We didn't have much time to hang out after the babies were born, and I missed her something fierce.
