“Kill, you were too rough with her.” Vincent barges into my office, and right behind him, Axel.
I blink, chasing away the unwanted flashes of Raelynn bent over my desk in the library. “What?”
“Raelynn,” he says. “You were too harsh with her.”

She’s probably crying right now buy I’ve been trying not to think about it since I came in here, but every part of my brain is flooded with her. “I had to be.”
