KILLIAN When I saw the woods, I thought no. There was no way in hell that Raelynn had left pack grounds. She couldn’t be that stupid, but the fact that she had left meant she was beyond livid. I trailed the forest, trying to catch a whiff of her scent when a scream pierced through the cold air of the night. I knew it the second I heard it; even from the far distance, it was unmistakable.
