OPENING HER GUEST room door in Will’s tower, Case stepped outside. And stopped. Whatever she’d expected, it wasn’t this. She appeared to be on a busy city promenade. Men and women in business clothes scurried by carrying briefcases. Others in casual wear strolled and chatted, coffee cups in hand. Sunshine lit the scene.
