JUST BEFORE MIDNIGHT and Yeshe’s expected arrival, Will shut down his design table. Sliding off the chair, he rubbed his face. Tired. So tired. And hungry. Sitting on the couch, he took a bite of the grilled cheese sandwich. Cold, hard. And the fries were a soggy mess. He forced himself to eat half the sandwich, washing it down with warm milkshake.
