You may have noticed I used popular (mostly) song titles for the chapter titles in the book. If you didn’t, don’t worry about it. It was just something I enjoyed doing. However, if you did notice, I thought you might like to see the whole list of songs and their associated artists. The artists reflect many of my favorites, such as Springsteen and Bowie and the Canadian bands, Metric and The Tragically Hip. Others were picked to add even more Canadian flavor, so we have Arcade Fire, Neil Young, Brighid Fry (of the band, Housewife), and Stars. Sometimes I took liberty with the title to make a play on words that better fit the chapter (see chapters 7, 15, 22, and 40), but always the main reason I picked a song was for how its title fit to the chapter action.
