I didn’t know how or when I fell asleep. Every part of me throbbed with a pain I enjoyed, a lingering ache that wrapped around my body like a memory I didn’t want to forget. The last thing I remembered was coming undone in the alpha’s arms as he held me tightly.
I opened my eyes to see him fully dressed, his eyes already on me.
“You’re awake,” he said as our eyes met.
