*Lena* The emergency lights blinked on, and immediately, I knew I was in trouble. What in God’s name was going on, and why was it happening now? In the dim light, I could see Eason’s reflection in the polished doors, his face a mask of concern and surprise that likely mirrored my own. “What’s going on?” I heard him ask, but I was too focused on the fact that we were stuck here together.
