Damien's POV Two days had crawled by like centuries. I hadn’t slept much even when my eyes closed, I could still see her, Aurora—shaking and drowning in power that threatened to pull everything apart. Her desperate whispers still clung to the back of my mind. I hated that. Hated that she's stuck pitiably in my head when she should have been nothing but another problem to deal with.
