Hold a Grudge

Lu looks at the card for a long time whether to take it or leave it there. she remembered last time,

The next day of their marriage registration, being helpless she had to ask for money from him for the unexpected operation of Jack which required 3 million she had no money at the very moment cause she had used every single penny she had for Jack treatment already and Selim Grandmother already was doing an enough by providing them with monthly charity fund to Adoption Centre.

          At last, she had no choice but to ask for money from him at that time he had given her his platinum card with a large sum of money, even Lu whole lifetime was not enough to count how much money that card's hold and she did not even care though.

        But what she cares for was that 3 million which could save Jack life. Jack was from an orphan too like her. He was also found in the doorway of the Adoption centre like her abandoned by their parents after giving birth. She was the one who had found him crying in the cradle may be from hunger. Since both had the same fate so she decided to take him as her brother and took care of him as a mother would do. He was 10 years old when they find out he had a brain tumour at that time it has been already 4 and half years since she left the adoption home to earn money so that she could support the adoption home and share the burden with the orphan director Anita.

Lu picked up the card and went to the room which Selim grandma had let her stay till Selim accept the marriage from the heart and share his room, heart but seems like that day will never come till he holds his last breath. Lu has no idea why Selim despise her so much since she had caused no trouble for him.

Maybe because he was forced to marry her against his will. Even Selim mother was also against this marriage. she thought her son deserves someone better who can support him standing beside him in the business world and his personal life, with a powerful aura that enemies fear to mess up with exactly like Selim, rather than an ordinary girl like her. Since grandma was the eldest one of the family so nobody dared to oppose her decision.

She reached for a nightstand and pull out the drawer and put the card next to the one which Selim had given on the next day of their marriage, 3years ago.

 After the death of Selim grandma one year ago due to a heart attack, she moves out and started living in the colony of servants on the backside of the mansion. Living there was not an easy task with the people who held a grudge toward her. She had to struggle every day cause they used to gang up against her and bullied her every time and each chance they got. Selim never cared about her which gave them full freedom to treat her whatever way they like.
