"Everybody welcome to the new class."Miss Sakuntala welcomed all the students to the new academic session."Today onwards you are in a new journey since this is the academic level where you will get your first government certificate.This is the first step towards your birght future.Wish you all the very best for this final year of basic level.I am your class teacher for the next one year and hope all of you will enjoy under my guidance and make most out of it.Lets embrace this journey together and make this one a memorable ride".All the students clapped for their class teacher and cheered for her.
Swasti was amazed with Miss Sakuntala´s words.She was more in confusion.What was Miss trying to tell?Was she saying that all of us were grown up and it was the best time to think about oneself?These thoughts revolved around her head.In her whole life,she didn't need lets say didn't get a single chance to take a firm decision.All her needs and desires were taken and fulfilled by her parents;from her clothes to even the tinest of the things.She was lost in thoughts when Sudeep pinched her and woke her up from her thoughts.
"Will you please open the book,I haven't bought the new acedemic books since I shifted yesterday only.It seems you have brought all the books your bag is full.Can we please share it for today?"asked Sudeep.
"She always carries her books and you know what Sudeep she even may have the books of the next class and of the further ones.Am I right Swast?"joked Suru.
"that's so funny..haha"glared Swasti.
"You must know one thing Sudeep,Swasti never ever shares her books.Ask her for anything else than her books since she has her life in her books"suggested Suru.
"that's not the case.If you lend someone books,they may tear pages or write on the book which I detest so I don't share or lend books but since you are my bench partner you can surely read it from here.Here you go"Swasti took out the new book from her bag and placed it in between.
"Oh My God,this has been a miracle.Swasti is sharing books.My eyes have seen something extraordinary in the first day of the class itself.What self am I going to see the whole year.I am so looking forward to this new beginning." shouted Suru.
Vijay who was next to Suru got frightened with her loudness.
In fact Suru shouted so loud that Miss Sakuntala heard her and asked her to stop talking.
"This is the first class and you already started making noises.I am warning you all don't make this class a fish market.I don't want any noise during my class or in any other classes.Since I am your class teacher,I want you all to make sure that the class become the best on in the whole school.Suru,specially you need to be extra careful since you seem to be the primary source of noise pollution in the class."
All the class laughed.Vijay was also smiling when Suru gave him a look of a death,he stopped immediately.
"You seem to be the most talked about student of the class.Am I right Suru?"
"Why do you need to know that.You are new in the class,better focus on yourself rather than others"said Suru in anger.
"Swasti,Can you please answer me if Suru is like this full of attitude girl forever."whispered Vijay in Swasti´s ear.
"No,you are getting her wrong.She isnt like that.She is very friendly and bubbly type.it's the heat of moment that has made her look like that.Dont mind her.You are her bench partner.You will get to know her better slowly.Give her sometime." replied Swasti.
