THEY SMELLED LIKE smoke as they walked back into Lir’s cabin later that night, and it drove Aoife’s senses crazy. As a matter of fact, the entire evening had driven her crazy. When Lir first told her about the weekly bonfires Dimitri instituted when he took over as Alpha, she thought it was a romantic idea, giving couples something to do without having to drive into a big city.
