“Let me and Hugo handle this,Gin.” Hex said and both of them walked two more steps. “Please reserve your magic in emergency cases,” he added.

“Isn’t this an emergency case?” Gin asked.

“What I mean about emergency case is facing the boss,” Hex replied with a smirk.

“Fine then, show us what you’ve got,” Gin replied and the barrier protecting us extended to Gin’s position without Hex and Hugo na nakatayo sa harapang bahagi nila. Now that I think of it, I never had the chance to ask them what spirit they are wielding. I wonder what kind of spirit and what family do they belong. This excites me for some reason.

Hex and Hugo shined together with yellow light. The light was very bright but it didn’t affect me but it did affected the demon’s skin. What kind of light is that?

“Orion,” Hex said and it gave me chills when the yellow light shined brighter. My eyes widened when I saw a male holding his bows and arrow. The man’s clothes were glittery. The clothes has this silver and gold color at tumingin ito sa akin. The prettiest eyes I’ve seen- the color of his eyes were like the galaxy. His skin is pale and his lips were pinkish. He has whis small tattoo in his neck and as far as I can remember - that’s a constellation, my favorite constellation to be exact. 

“That’s … the Hunter,” I said at napatingin sa akin si Kali.

“You’ve seen a Celestial Spirit before?!” he asked.

“No,” I replied and I pointed at his neck. “That constellation means Orion the Hunter.” I added at agad akong napatingin kay Tempest and he was looking at me too. His eyes widened and he looked away.

“Why? What’s wrong?” biglang tanong ni Kailani at napatingin silang lahat kay Tempest.

“W-W-Well, before even the spirits existes, Orion was a good and remarkable hunter but he was killed by …u-um …a huge scorpion,” I replied at napatingin sa akin si Tempest.

“It wasn’t me, okay?!” reklamo niya.

“I’m talking about your spirit, Tempest,” I added and he took a deep breath.

“Whatever,” sagot niya at umiwas ulit ako ng tingin.

I glanced back at Orion and he suddenly smiled.

“You’re back.”

Nanigas ako at kumunot ang noo ko. His mouth didn’t move but I heard his voice. Did he just gave me a message through telepathy? What does he mean I’m back? We never met before. Bago pa man ako makasagot Hugo’s light shined brightly kaya napatingin ako sa kanya.

“Aries,” he said. Aries?! Like Aries, the Ram?! Like one of the Zodiacs?!! I glanced at Gin and he was smiling proudly.

“They’re strong too, you know,” he said while glancing at us habang kami ay puno ng mangha. These two aren’t just a member of Dominant Swest for a show- they’re real deal!!

A young girl appeared with pink hair and golden dress. She was wearing a golden Greek-styled crown ang her long hair had some pins with a star shaped. Her palms had a tattoo of her own constellation too. She looked at behind and our eyes met- just like Orion, her eyes were pretty- I never knew that having a galaxy-colored eyes is like this. If I were them, hindi na ako pipikit.

She smiled at me like how Orion smiled. I looked at them both at nagulat na lang ako nang bigla silang nag bow. Napatingin silang lahat sa akin na halatang nagulat. Oh come on, they better get their stares at me kasi mismo ako walang alam kung bakit nangyayari ito. T-They just did - I don’t how and I don’t know why.

“What?!” I exclaimed and I raised both of my hands. “I swear to all Deities wala akong alam,” sabi ko at napatingin muli sa kanilang dalawa. They stood up straightly at tumingin ulin sa demonyo

The demon’s skin were starting to melt but it’s also trying itself to regenrate kaya kahit gaano kalalim ang pagkapaso ng balat nito- babalik at babalik pa rin ito sa dati. This is tougher than I expected. 

Imbis na ang lalim ng iniisip ko, nawala na lang ito bigla nang nawalarin sa aming harap sina Hex at Hugo. I tried to look around but nothing, all I see is darkness. Even the demon was confused. Nagulat na alng ako nang may tumama na kumkinang na arrow sa ulo nito. Napatingin kami sa itaas and I saw Hex floating in the air while looking at the demon like it was a trash-I mean, it really is though. Orion was preparing another arrow. His eyes shines bright and the next thing I knew, the arrow crossed in front of us at tumusok na ito sa dibdib ng demon.

“W-W-Woah,” I mumbled at napalunok ako. My favorite constellation is on my reach now. Hindi ko na lang ito nakikita sa kalangitan, pwede ko na rin itong hawakan. This is exciting.

Akala ko tapos na pero bigla na lang lumitaw si Hugo sa harap mismo ng demonyo habang nakaupo si Aries sa shoulder niya. Bigla nalang lumitaw ang mga malalking bituin sa itaas nila. It was the constellation of Aries to be exact. Hugo pointed at the demon and Aries constellation moved toward’s the demon’s body.

The demon started shouting kaya tumalon palayo si Hugo. Lor activated barriers to them para hindi sila matamaan sa pinag-gagawa ng demonyo. The demon was on rage at isa-isa niyang tinutumba ang mga puno. Halatang-halata na nasasaktan siya ng sobra kasi pati ang mga bushes na ansa ibaba lang ng puno ay pinapatay niya. Umabot sa punto na tinutusok na niya ang ground causing it to c***k.

“Finish that filthy demon,” Gin ordered.

“Roger that,” they both said in chorus.

Both of them attacked simultaneously and the demon shouted louder. The ground had a huge c***k- to the point na umabot ang c***k sa malayo talaga. Don’t tell me that this ground is gonna break. The demon’s voice slowly vanished until it turned into ashes. Honestly, that demon was strong- like strong strong compared sa nakaharap namin but they simply defeated it when no efforts. I can see why they are one of the pending contestants like us- they deserve it. Well, they are actually much deserving in representing the school- from their magic and reasons. For us? We still have the next two years. We have many opportunities left.

“They are damn amazing,” I whispered at napatingin ako kay Kali na halatang namamangha.

“I’ve never seen a Zodiac Spirit before, watching this close is …” he mumbled at napahawak sa dibdib niya at bigla itong ngumiti na para bang nakabili ng bagong laroan. “awesome!” he added at ngumiti ako.

“Of course, Zodiacs are rare- labing-dalawa lang sila,” I replied

“Not only that, they are part of the Grand Order,” singit ni Lor and deactivated the barriers. Yeah, I think Kailani mentioned to me about this Grand order thing. They are actually in higher position compared to the soldiers which we call as Imperial Sovereign Protectors.

“But to add, Zodiacs aren’t 12- they’re 13 now,” singit ni Argo. Yeah, in my world, a new zodiac emerged- Ophiuchus, the serpent bearer. “But this has never been found by the castle. Others says that the thirteenth zodiac is nothing but a myth,” he added. No, it’s not a myth. It exist. I know for sure. Kaso nga lang, sa mundo ko dati, the thirteenth zodiac is always an enemy to mankind. I don’t exactly know why. Sana nga lang hindi ito applicable sa mundong ito.

“The ground is breaking!” Hex shouted and we felt the shaking of the ground as soon as he said that.

“Fly!” Hugo shouted. Too bad I can’t fly.

Kailani suddenly grabbed me and carried me. His dragon wings suddenly emerged behind him and no matter how many times I’ve seen those- I’ll always be surprised of how cool he is and his wings are. Kailani jumped and we floated in the air. Napatingin ako sa iba- Nieve made an ice floor at sumakay si Kali doon. Nieve made extras kung saan sumakay sina Gin, Tempest, Lor, at Argo.

“Wow,” Kali teased at ramdam ko ang pamumula ng mukha ko. Nieve chuckled and offered me an ice floor kaya hindi ako nag dalawang isip na bumaba doon. I stared at Kailani who was smiling like crazy.

“What? I just panicked.” he reason out.

Nabaling ang attention naming lahat when we heard the ground collapsed.

“Why is the ground collapsing?” biglang tanong ni Argo.

Oh, do grounds stick? Does it never collapse?

“I understanf if it would collapse if there is water under it but we’re talking about a plain ground here,” biglang singit ni Lor. Di ba ito normal?!

“Unless,” biglang sabi ni Gin sabay lunok. What? What is this reaction?!

“Unless what?” Kailani asked and then it hit me. I realized what they are talking about. The ground do not collapse that easier unless there is something underneath it.

I glanced back below and the ground stopped collapsing but all I can see are thick smoke from the collapsing incident. We waited for a couple of minutes until the thick smoke vanished.

“W-W-What the hell?” I gasped as I covered my mouth.

“This must be a joke,” I heard Kali whispered. I’m afraid it’s not. I’M AFRAID IT’S NOT.

There was underneath that ground. Believe me or not but I didn’t know that demons lay eggs. There are hundreds of eggs here. Transparent eggs to be exact and I can see clearly that each egg has different type of demons but what’s most surprising. Yes, we can differentiate that each demons vary but that’s because they are using human bodies. There are some eggs here where their is only half of a human corpse but with a demon lower body. That explains why we encountered a demon with human features kanina but the fact that they are morphing both humans and demons?! This is insane. I cannot even imagine doing this if I were a demon. Are demons this immoral? Do demons have no sympathy?!

I glanced at Gin and Tempest and they seemed shock and was about to burst out in anger. Why?

Because there is a high possibility that their younger brother, Beathan, is there- one of these eggs that we just discovered.
