Jacob

We are back to the beginning fighting most of the time, sometimes I'm even glad she angry with me, at least I know she is thinking about me. I wish I could know more, I don't even sure if she have feelings for me or if it's curiosity of her innocence who is giving her the idea of love. She hasn't say anything, she is hiding her feelings, I admired her strength.

I have to say that it has been hard for me, controlling myself around her is not easy.

I was taking my coffee in the garden it's where I can only find peace. The house is a war zone fights after fights.

"My lovely son" It was Lazy, she has been around lately like she knows something is wrong.

"Hello, Lazy how are you today" I faked my smile.

"I'm good, I just came to bring you the invitation for a reception we having today at home. This is important you guys need to be there" she smiled hanging one of the letters not that I needed, but well obviously it was an excused, why will I need an invitation to my father's house.

"Thank you, we will be there"

She left without saying anything else.

The night was looking beautiful Elise already knew about the event she was getting ready in her room while I waited upside for her. I was checking my phone when I saw her coming with a beautiful long black dress. Hair to the side it was the first time she had her hair like that. Her lips red and a light make up on her face, she is too simple but beautiful I thought. I gave her my hand. Lucky for us the drive was quick I wanted to tell her how beautiful she looked but I was not looking for another fight.

We arrived at my father's house, this time he had the reception inside the house, in one of the ball rooms at the end of the second floor.

"Hello, father, Lazy" I said shaking my father's hand. He was standing next to Lazy greeting the guesses.

Elise stayed behind with my father and Lazy, I wonder what they have been talking lately. I continued my wait to where Eric was standing.

"Eric, I didn't know you were back already"

"Yes, you know me consume with work always"

Eric has always been a work alcoholic and well a playboy too. We are alike that is why we have always been friends.

"Well, hello Jacob so nice to see you here" I completely froze, what she is doing here. I know for a fact that Elise knows about her and now she is here this is not good.

"Stefanie, what are you doing here" I asked angrily

"Jacob not here" Eric said while doing a signal, letting me know Elise was standing a few feet from me.

"We talked later " I said to her

Jacob was standing with Eric and Stefanie, he has not dissent bringing her to the party with me here. I hide my anger putting a facade.

"Hey looked Jacob is there, and who is that handsome guys with him?" Ri, asked practically crawling me toward them.

"Hello, Jacob, Elise was looking for you" She said taking me by surprised. Her nerves I said inside of me.

"Oh I see" he said putting me closer to him

"Well who is this beauty Jacob" Eric immediately said looking at Ri, of course he will. Ri, is tall like a model, with a beautiful body, her hair is black with hazel eyes. She was wearing a long light pink dress which gave her a vibrant tone to her skin.

"My name is Ri, I'm Elise best friend" she said of course that is the thing with Ri, she is this kind of girls who is not scared of the world, nothing like me.

"What a coincidence I'm Jacob best friend" he said taking her from the hand and giving her a kissed which by her look she was welcoming too.

"Hem" someone cleared her throat, of course it was Stefanie which we completely ignored.

"Oh right, this is my friend Stefanie" Eric introduced her to Ri and I didn't even blink.

"Honey, come here let me introduce you someone"

My mother said taking me with her. I didn't want to leave him there with her, but what could I do. While she was presenting some of her friends, I was trying to find Jacob, I couldn't see him, neither Ri or Eric and well of course Stefanie too. Where they are I wonder

"Mother I have to go" I said quickly looking for them, I went to the balcony and Eric was there with Ri.

I didn't want then to see me of course I knew what this meant. I went outside to see if they were there, my instincts was correct he was standing next to her in the corner of the house. The first thing I saw, luckily nobody was outside, but me. It seems that he smelled me because he looked to where I was immediately. We stare at each other before his face was pulled by Stefanie to kiss him. She gave him a big and strong kiss. He didn't even move nor do I know since someone called.

"Elise" that voice I know that voice, it's Andrew of course it's him.

"Andrew" I was surprised to see him here "What are you doing here" I asked

"My business partner is waiting for me here and you" he asked

This is my mother's house. Andrew was surprised he never knew my family had money. He knew we were well off but nothing compared to him. Of course I didn't consider to be part of this family so I hided my real identity. Andrew still handsome, he was tall, with blonde curly hair, green eyes, and was wearing a suit that goes perfect with his character.

He came closer to me and gave me a hugged which I had to recognize I needed in the moment. I was mad at him for what he did to me, cheating with my best friend but it was not compared to how mad I was with Jacob.

"Where are you going" he asked me and for some reason I needed to get lost with someone I knew.

"Well, I don't even know where but you are welcome to come"

"Okay" he raised his hand to the valet guy, who was waiting to park his car.

We both left in his black Bentley, without looking back. I knew he saw me leaving with him, I was hoping he did. I wanted for him to feel what I felt just now and all the others day he wasn't at home.

We both went to a restaurant in town, and had a great time, like the olds time, without talking about us or love or how sad my life was. We instead talked about our days in school. He was doing his lawyer career with me.

"Elise, I'm so happy I found you here" he said so sincerely.

"I'm glad you are here" I was glad but not the way he think I was. I didn't want to tell him I was marry already, I was not ready to talked about him. For one night I was the center of attention in someone eyes and I needed that.

After having some dinner, I asked him to dropped me home. Jacob car was no there, I knew where he was. I felt sad because he was with her but there was nothing I could do about that he is in love with her.

"Want to have breakfast tomorrow " he asked

I almost forgot I was still in the car with Andrew.

"Yes,sure" I said leaving the car.

The night was dark and cold like my heart was too. He never came home ...
