The Honeymoon

The flight was long, but I was able to rest at least. Jacob spent his time reading, I didn't even bother to talk to him. I had a plan in my head, and he is going to pay what he did to me. We went to one of my father's hotel. It was my favorite one, I'm guessing this was my mother idea.

As soon as we arrived everyone made us the center of attention. The manager came really quick to welcome us. We went directly to our room. We both walked together like a couple but more distant than ever. The room was huge and of course everything was for honeymooners. Flowers were on every corner of the room. Petals on the bed with a heart in the center. A bucket of champagne on the nightstand with chocolates at the side. So romantic only problem we are not a couple. The room has two bedroom, I went inside to the one that was without decoration. I was not in the mood for flowers and petal I didn't even bother to tell him what was I doing. I waited for him to go until I decided to have dinner. I put on my best dress, I was looking more like a woman now. I went to the restaurant that was outside the hotel. The view was beautiful, I sat in one of the tables looking at the ocean. I order some wine while waiting for my appetizer to come.

"I was looking for you everywhere" I looked up to see Jacob standing next to me, looking casual but still handsome.

"I wasn't planning for you to find me" I replied while taking a zip of wine.

He gave me a smile while taking the sit in front of me. He got the menu while calling the waitress to order some food.

"Is not good for us to be seen eating alone in our honeymoon"

He was worried about that now really, what about when he left me in our wedding day.

"Really I'm surprised you are worried about that when you left with someone in our wedding day. It didn't seem to bother you what would people think that day.

I noticed he got tense for a second just before saying.

" Oh, this is about that, well a man has his needs, unless you want to do the job yourself, of course I can't promise I will be only yours"

He was teasing me but both can play this game.

"You wouldn't want that right .. " I replied putting a sinic smile.

The waitress came at that moment with the food, luckily I finished my dinner fast as well as him. He grabbed me by my waist and took me to elevator with him trying to give everybody the impression we were happily marry. We were alone on the elevator, I took one step closer to him, luckily I was wearing heels, I grabbed his shirt with both of my hands.

"Don't you think we have unfinished business"

I told him while kissing him. I let my hand slowly down his pants, unzipping them. I could feel his erection, god it was so hard. The next days were weird for both of us she didn't said anything about what happened neither do I.

"Good morning " she said while taking a cup of coffee.

"Good morning, my father just called we have to come back" I told her while getting up

"I know I just saw my mother text message, you want more coffee" she offered I was surprised but went over with my cup.

"I was thinking now that we are going back to Rockville maybe we need something for us, for the time being, just to have some privacy, it would be hard to hide the fake marriage in your father's house" she said, that took me by surprised but fortunately I'm one step ahead.

"I know, I'm working on that" I replied , she gave me confused look but didn't say anything else.

We got backed to Rockville the next day, the flight was longer than before due to the bad weather.

Jacob, has been busy with work so we barely see each other. I was actually missing him already and I didn't want that. I called Ri, to start working on something while I was here.

"Ri, can you please come in the afternoon, And bring me some of the places you went to see for the new law firm"

I was a lawyer after all so I wanted to work, being home was only putting me in stressful situations.

Days has passed since the last time I saw her. I was consumed with work. I missed her so much, it was even scary to think like that, but for some reason I do. Every time I close my eyes she is there, I can't seems to forget her lips. Fortunately, I already finished what my father needed and was able to do something for her too. I went home after work it was late already. I went to the room and she wasn't there, I looked for her inside the house without any luck.

"Lazy, do you know where is Elise" I asked Lazy who was coming from my father's office.

"Yes, she is in the cottage"

I went to the cottage what she is doing there I wonder, I knocked first before entering. To my surprised she was with a bunch of boxes and papers on the floor.

"Hey" I said, hey what I stupid thing to said.

"Hey" she replied

"What are you doing" I asked

"Nothing, just work, since I'm bored, I'm planning to open a small oficial on town.. "

"Okay, you need help" I asked, I was happy to see her

"Well if you don't mind" she replied

"Not, at all"

I sat in front of her while she gave me some paper and a highlighter.

"I'm just doing this old case, is a girl she disappeared when she was 20 after getting out of a coffee shop in Esville, just marked the name Smith"

"Oh, I know that case, Esville is 20 minutes at most from here, they only found her purse I believe at 50 km from here"

"I hate when this like thing happened, I like to take cases like this at least I can try to help"

I smiled at her, I wanted to kissed her that instant, but I controlled myself from ruining the moment.

"Are you hungry, you want me to order some pizza" I asked

"Sure, why not" she replied

I laughed, unintentionally she is the first girl I know who likes pizza.

"Why are you laughing "

"No, nothing is just I'm so used to be around models anf you know how they are with their diet"

"Oh I see" she wasn't too happy about the model part

"I'm glad you are different" I said to her, making her blush

We spent hours checking papers, after the pizza I was exhausted well we both were. We slept in the cottage in the same bed, I don't even remembered how that happened, I was to tired to think straight. When I woke up in the morning my hand were around her. I smelled her hair it smell like flower. She opened her eyes and we both met with your gaze.

"Good morning" I said

"Good morning" she said before closing her eyes again and then again getting up from the bed really quick.

"Oh we both slept here I almost forgot that" she blushed saying that.

"Yes, we both were tired, let's go to the house I have a surprise for you get ready first.

"A surprise" she said curious

We went to the house, trying to sneak in before someone could actually see that we didn't sleep in the house.

"Elise and Jacob good morning"

Our luck Lazy was sitting in the living room with my father beside her.

"Good morning, father, Lazy" I nodded to both of them, Elise was pale like she saw a ghost.

"Mother, stepfather"

"You guys didn't sleep here?" Lazy asked of course she knows we didn't.

"No, mother we were on the cottage I had a lot of work and Jacob was nice enough to help"

Elise answered seems to put Lazy very happy, giving Elise and me a smile. My father didn't even bother to looked, he was reading the newspaper like nothing was happening, but I know him very well and he is listening everything perfectly.

"Go shower don't worry about us we are leaving now" Lazy said pointing to the stairs. We continued out way without saying anything. We both have the separate room. Every one went to their room before meeting downstairs.

Elise

Jacob has been strange today, he is taking me somewhere, he is waiting standing on the car. He look so handsome in jeans, this team he is wearing a blue sweater, it goes well with his dark hair.

"Please let me put you this, I don't want to spoiled the surprised" he said with a tide in his hand. It was preventing me to see where we going. I sat in the car impatiently, my hand were sweating already.

He suddenly stopped , the ride was short to ny surprised, come here he gave me his hand.

"Welcome to your new home" he said while taking the tide from my eyes.

I couldn't believe what my eyes were looking it was my father's house, exactly how it was before the fire. Tears were coming down my eyes, this is the nicest thing someone has do for me. I gave him a hugged.

"Thank you Jacob, this is so nice from you, you are making it so hard for me to hate you" I said to him smiling.

"I'm glad you like it, maybe we can move here if you want to of course "

"Of course I want" I replied hugging him again, I was dying to kissed him right there, but I was restraining my self from doing that.
