Karen's POV. Lucien returned with more reports from the pack securities we had stationed for the week. He loaded them on the table before me. “These should the all for last week.” I seized them up, poked my finger underneath the last, lifted them up and then lowered them again. They were light weight, lighter than they used to be. That wasn't a good sign. Usually that meant the security men didn't see much. It was the same plain answer. “Nothing seen, same plain environment, shift taken by….” And then their names before they passed the attendance to the next person. I felt sick to my stomach, bored with what I had seen. Surely one person must have seen something. They couldn't all have not seen something. They weren't all blind. “Kaden.” Lucien snapped me out of my thoughts.
