Isabella’s POV. I had fallen asleep on the couch, far away from the most comfortable bed in my room, with the lights on and the windows of my living room wide open. The brightness from the warm-toned bulb nearly blinded me, causing an instant sting to me when I dared to open both my eyes at once. I squeaked softly, holding a hand to my head as I woke up gently. But it wasn't the light that woke me, it was thirst. I must have been running in my dreams to have had the kind of thirst I did.
