Kaden’s POV. The sun filtered into my eyes as I flipped on my other side. It burned even when my eyes weren't open, the sting painful enough to wake me up immediately. I rose to sit, barely awake from my late night sleep when I heard a knock on my door. “Alpha.” “Alpha?” The third call provoked a response from me. A deep groan. “Who is it?! Haven't I told you all to never wake me from my sleep?!” I yelled loudly, confident it was one of my maids at the door. It wasn't, I came to find out later, but at least they stopped knocking.
