Isabella’s POV. The smile on my face faded in half a second. I pulled my neck away from Charles, my eyes widened with horror. “What did you say?” He still held his smile. “That was what woke me,” he continued, “I had a dream, he was my father.” Moon goddess came to my rescue. I blinked away the pretend disgust I had on my face and casually smiled inside. “It's alright.” That was all I could say. “You should go to bed.” My son obeyed me, seeing as the smile lines that deepened my face before had disappeared. He climbed into bed quietly, laid the blanket over his head and closed his eyes immediately.
