The car engine humming filled the silence between us as I steered the vehicle through the morning traffic.
Charles was late for school with that little stunt he did back there but I couldn't nag him about it
Quite frankly, I enjoyed his stint. He sat beside me, his small frame barely visible behind the bulky seatbelt that seemed oversized for his tiny stature. His legs swung idly, and his gaze was fixed out the window.
