Ethan's POV
For the first time in years, Ethan Wolfe found himself distracted by something that had nothing to do with business.
Unfortunately, that something had a name.
Nina Carter.
He stared through the floor-to-ceiling windows of his office, watching the city move beneath him while a half-finished report sat forgotten on his desk.
The report wasn't the problem.
Neither was the meeting he had scheduled in less than an hour.
The problem was that every time he closed his eyes, he saw Nina.
Not the Nina who had left him.
Not the Nina who had shattered him five years ago.
But Nina from the coffee shop.
Nina who laughed when he teased her.
The Nina who looked at him like she was trying very hard not to remember what they used to be.
