The Deal...Roxanne and Johnathan 2.0

1740 Words
Roxanne Johnny and I finally stepped out the shower after an hour. We were clean within the first twenty minutes, but we kind of got distracted. I wrapped a towel around my wrinkly body and handed Johnny one and he wrapped it around his waist. I started to blow dry my hair and I felt Johnny’s presence behind me, watching me intensively. I tried to ignore his dripping wet body pressed against my wet and smooth back. I finished drying my hair, no help to Johnny, and begin to straighten it. "So, what's the agenda for today?" he asked. "I’m going to get dressed, get the rest of my stuff from my parents, head to work, then see if I can find my friends. I also need to make a doctor’s appointment obviously.” "How far along do you think you are?" he whispered. "I don't know. I'll have to have to go the doctors to find out. This pregnancy is going to be a struggle," I said as I finished my hair. "Are you sure you want me to move in with you?" "It's either that or watch you live in this dump, no offense." "Ok. So, I'll see you tonight?" "Tonight," he promised with a soft kiss to my lips. I walked out of the bathroom to give Johnny some space only to realize he doesn't have new clothes. He'll just have to wear his old clothes back home or something. I can't believe he drove all the way, just for me. Well for the baby and me. "Johnny?" "Yes, babe?" My throat tightened. He's never called me babe before. Was this going to be his new nickname or something? Would he like me calling him babe or baby? I preferred him calling me Rox, but there was something about that simple pet name that made my blood boil. "Um, do you want me to give you your clothes?" I asked as I started picking up clothes from the floor. I put mine in the black duffel bag I brought with me and noticed my last clean outfit on the messy bed. I placed Johnny's clothes next to mine on the bed. "No," he finally answered as he came out. His hair was dry and curled up, away from his forehead. I smiled at it and he smiled back. "I came prepared and brought a spare. It's in my trunk." "You're going to go out there in a towel?" "There's no other way. Besides, it's still early." "It's almost ten," I pointed out. "Oh, it's that late?" "Well, we've been distracted lately," I said as I dragged my fingertips up and down his dry, slightly hairy chest. He groaned at my touch. "Come on, we got to get dressed. I have a lot of plans for today and I need to be focused." "I'll get the apartment cleaned up for when you arrive." "I just realized I'm going to have to quit my job if I want to live with you," I said as I walk over to the bed. "There's no way I'm driving hours a day just for hours for work." "I guess you're right," Johnny sighed. I heard the front door open and close. I took my clothes and changed in the bathroom. I put on my strapless black bra and matching black panties and I heard the door open and close again. I knew Johnny was back. I put on a white and black striped crop top that had thin spaghetti straps, dark blue jean shorts and a black and white Adidas. I placed the white Adidas cap backward and let my hair fall down my shoulders and back. I put on deodorant and perfume and left the bathroom to get my makeup bag. I opened the door and saw Johnny buckling his belt. I bit my lip and leaned against the door as I watched his back flex. Damn, he was hot. He noticed me watching him and winked causing me to flush. "Glad you're enjoying the show." "I like what I see," I informed him and walked past to get my small neon green bag and walk back into the bathroom. I do my makeup as quick as possible which only consisted of concealer and mascara. I brushed my teeth and Johnny joined me. His free hand traveled down my smooth body and I couldn’t help but moan slightly when he starts rubbing me through my shorts. I spat out the mixture and grabbed onto the edge of the sink. "Stop," I panted. We can't keep doing this. It'll just lead to round three. We weren't bunnies. "Ok," John agreed and I was surprised. He spat out his solution as well, wiped his mouth and left me. I put on chapstick and exited the bathroom as well. Johnny was stuffing his dirty clothes in a bag. When he was finished he slung it over his shoulder. I gathered all of my belongings, zipped it up and tried to sling it over my shoulder as well but I ended up wobbling over and slamming onto the bed, causing Johnny to burst out laughing. "Stop laughing," I murmured as I giggled. "That was funny. Let me carry your bag," he said and I handed it over without complaint. He somehow picked me off the bed despite both bags weighing him down and placed me on the floor. "Let's go eat some breakfast." Johnny chucked my bag in my trunk and gave me a peck on my forehead before heading over to his car. I get in and I followed him to McDonald's. We got breakfast sandwiches and orange juice. It was very childish, but that’s what I wanted. We said our goodbyes and I drove to my parents and got there around noon. "Roxanne? What are you doing here?" my mother questioned as she opened the door. "I just came to get the rest of my stuff," I informed her with a frown. "Oh ok. Your dad went to work," she said, letting me in. "Interesting to know." I grabbed a couple of garbage bags and pack everything I needed which was basically clothes. I grab all my fragile items and placed them gently into my school bag. I finish within a half hour and place everything in my trunk. "I’m moving in with Johnny. I think he wants to raise this baby together, and I love him and this baby," I told her. She sucked in a deep breath, absorbing the news before releasing it. She walked up to me and gave me a hug. "Ok. I love you." "I love you too." I drove to work and informed Henry that it was going to be my last day. He was disappointed to learn that he was going to be losing another employee, but he understood. During my short break, I called Stace. She was actually enjoying her summer before going off to college in Pennsylvania, which was about four hours away, so I hoped we got to see each other often. We made plans to have a girls day this weekend. I hoped I could find Izzy before then. It was only Monday, and I had time, but I wanted to talk before then. I finished work around eight and the sun was just setting. I received my last paycheck and was heading to Johnny's apartment which wasn't far from Izzy's apartment. Hmm, maybe she was there. I would have to check tomorrow. I heard my phone ring and I stopped at a stop sign before answering. I picked it up and put it on speaker before dropping it in my lap. "Hey," Johnny greeted and a smile formed on my face. "Hey, what's up?" "I was wondering when you were coming home." Home. He had said it as if he had said it a million times before now. "I'm actually about fifteen minutes away, did you need anything while I'm still out." "Um, I don't think so. I was thinking Chinese for dinner, how does that sound to you?" "Sounds perfect babe. I'll order it and pick it up," I said as I turned a corner. "You sure?" "Absolutely. I'm parking in the lot anyway. I'll see you when I get home, ok?" "Thanks, babe. I love you." "I love you too." I parked the car in the lot and hung up. I locked my doors and walked into the Chinese restaurant. I ordered the food to go and gave her some money from my paycheck and sat down in the corner. I decided to call Izzy while I waited. "Hello?" Izzy answered and I heard the wind in the background. She must be driving. "Hey, are you driving?" "Just parking my car, why?" "No one has seen or heard from you in a while. Stace and I were wondering if we could go out this weekend." "Yeah sure, I get paid this Friday so I'll have some spending money." "Cool, wait, getting paid this weekend? You got a job?" "Yes, I got a job working at Starbucks on campus. I get paid every Friday. That reminds me, I need to go food shopping," she murmured to herself. "I need a job," I sighed. "I think I can get you one here, we're actually low on staff, we can use the extra hand." "Plus I need the money since I have a baby on the way and I'm living with Johnny now." "Wait, hold up, what do you mean you're living with Johnny?" "We kind of got back together last night," I blushed. "He came over and he apologized saying he wants to be there for the baby and for me." "So two college teens living together with a baby, interesting, I wonder how this is going to play out." "I don't need one of your theorems," I giggled. I heard my order getting called and I stood up. "Hey, I got to go. I'll meet you at Starbucks at 9:30 tomorrow morning?" "I work there, I'll see you whenever," Izzy chuckled. "Bye." "Bye." I hung up, grabbed the food and headed back to my car. On the way, I kept contemplating Izabella's words. Two college teens living together with a baby. I wonder how this is going to play out. Hell, she wasn’t the only one.
