A tornado warning is currently in effect for Hernando, Pasco, north Hillsborough and western Polk counties until 6 A.M. Two tornadoes have been reported near Land O’Lakes, moving south-southwest at thirty miles per hour. A fast-moving band of severe thunderstorms is moving across Central Florida with embedded hail, lightning and strong winds. If you live in these areas, you should move to an interior portion of your home immediately. If you are outdoors, take shelter.
If you see a tornado, move to a secure area of your home. Stay away from windows. Tune your radio to AM 620 for further emergency information.
