Sultan lived in a world of sights, sounds, and smells. His vision was attuned to movement and the gray tones that dominated his sight revealed shadow and dark and quick darts of prey. His binocular vision was nearly as good as a human’s, and his nose twitched constantly, more out of curiosity than tracking. Unlike canines, felines usually didn’t use scent to hunt, relying on sound and sight to indicate food sources. Sultan’s ears swiveled, searching constantly for the noise of prey.
