Orion's POV The second I opened that door and saw him—Xavier—sitting there cross-legged on my bed, playing quietly with a set of wooden toys, my heart stopped. My son. Alive. Unharmed. Right here, in my home. A jolt of panic shot through my chest so violently, I almost stumbled back. My mother stood beside me, her hands clasped tightly in front of her.
