BE FRIENDS?
Amanda’s one week suspension went by quicker than she had expected. She found the short break – as she decided to view it somewhat enjoyable.
She spent her week listening to music, reading, watching movies and resting – she did a lot of that.
Her uncle Ben arrived home that same week for his monthly break. Amanda was glad to see him but was also worried about how he would take the news of her being suspended.
She loved her uncle dearly and wouldn’t want to hurt him in any way. She knew he wouldn't approve of her actions.
Surprisingly her uncle didn’t bring up the topic of her suspension. Amanda was sure he would scold her and express how much she disappointed him as soon as he heard what happened but he did none of that.
