“Steph…?” Tracy sighed unsure of how to begin the conversation.
Steph rolled her eyes knowing where the question was aimed at “I’m fine Trace just let me be.” The tone she used showed she didn’t want to pursue the conversation any further.
“I don’t think you are. You seem upset and it’s understandable due to what happened but you can’t act like it’s nothing. You have to let all those emotions out. You’ll feel better in the end.

So please talk to me. Tell me something other than ‘I’m fine’. We both know it’s a lie.” Tracy pressed on gazing directly into Steph’s eyes as if she could uncover the secrets hidden behind them.
