Damien I wake with a lazy stretch. I don't know what Clara did to me to get me sleeping all night. Maybe I am the one adapting instead of her. Clara looks peacefully asleep. I am debating on whether to wake her up with a wake up call or to let her continue sleeping. One leg is hitched up to my lap and one hand around my chest. She snores softly against my arm with a small smile on her face. I wonder what she is dreaming about that is making her smile in her sleep. I hope it is me. Maybe I should let her sleep some more. She had a late night last night. I remember how I told her everything about what happened years ago between his father and me. Deep down, I can feel the peaceful sense of satisfaction knowing that she is still with me despite knowing that I killed her grandfather. I
