The fairground was a permanent establishment on the outskirts of town. It was a place where people gathered to look at each other’s livestock, and there was a new club for kids to parade around their animals and what not, too. Festivals happened at the fairgrounds and there was even word that the state would be investing in a system to cool off one of the main buildings. Jeb thought this was a ridiculous idea.
