CHAPTER FORTY-SIX. It was a loud bang that woke Melissa up next, pulling her out of the amazing dream she'd been having. She sat up, disoriented as she tried to figure out what had woken her. She ran her hand down her face, her eyes moving around the room as she threw the blankets off and stood, her feet finding the furred slippers Clarissa had been so kind to lend to her earlier. She put them on and walked to the curtain covered glass walls - or large window, seeing as she wasn't yet decided on what to refer to that space as. It could either be a large space in the wall filled with glass as some sort of walling or it was a huge ass window that extended from the ceiling to the floor and from one edge of the room to the other.
