CHAPTER TWENTY-SIX. Laura was furious with herself. She shouldn't be, seeing as Marcus's surgery had went well and he had been finally cleared and was waiting for his discharge papers. Laura hated that she was irritated with the helping hand that she was giving to Marcus. All she wanted to do was go home and have a very long sleep and not deal with a recuperating person. She loved Marcus so much but she doubted that her love or rather tolerance, could withstand taking care of him.
