CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX. Gale felt his pockets, needing a fix as he waited for Melissa behind a rack of clothes. He'd watched as the red-headed attendant pulled them into a curtained off space, as she took in pile of clothes after pile of clothes, bringing out some again to hang back on racks, later exiting with what had to be Melissa's final purchase. Gale wished he had a cigarette on hand so that he could get over the torturous moment quickly. He sighed as he took in the scene around him, hoping that no one noticed his shady hiding spot. He had to find the perfect moment to steal her away and he eagerly waited for a moment were she'd be without Luca's men. He took in the bustling movement of everyone, his peripheral vision still trained on Melissa's curtained section. A baby was screeching
