Melissa tried to remind herself that if she was caught, she could easily make up a lie that'd fit the crime but no matter how many scenarios she thought up to get herself out of any mess she might encounter, she was still not sure she could pull it off. Stealing, sure, she was a pro at that. But sneaking around and planning wickedly to bring down a person? Not at all. She felt like crying and sudden hated Luca for making her into a bad person. If he hadn't found out about her parents or if he hadn't reported them to his father, none of this would have happened.
