Chapter 29
Chris sat at his desk pondering the whole thing. He was being impersonated though technically, nobody knew the Shadow. He wasn’t even crazy about the name, but someone was out there killing and using the name. This undid all he had done to change the perception of the Shadow.
He almost dropped his phone when it vibrated in his hand. It was his father.
“Hello sir”, he said into the phone.
“How is everything there? Hope you are enjoying your first day in office.”
“It is going well sir.”
“Look Christopher, something just came up. Honorable Adebayo a good friend of mine invited me to his birthday party tonight. It would seem he had sent me a long while ago, but I wasn’t privy to it. I want you and Destiny to come with me. Is that okay?”
