Benjamin called his son again while at the office. He didn’t fear for what Francis could do to him or his family, he only feared what he could say. The bible says the power of life and death is in the tongue. He decided he wasn’t going to risk it and call him bluff. The life and death of his entire empire rested in Francis’ tongue.
“No, no and no dad. Why would you even want me to drop the case?” Chris asked his father. He was starting to believe more and more that his father was in fact the Don. Why else would he want to save the man that kidnapped his daughter? He wondered.
