Chapter 5
His phone came to life. He reached into his pocket and took it out. Benjamin sighed visibly at the disappointment and Christopher gave a courteous smile. He asked his son to excuse him before he picked the call. He had strolled out of the house that night to have a heart-to-heart with his son before the call came in. He waited until Christopher was inside the house before he spoke into the phone.
“Hello, hello, are you there?” The caller asked.
“Yes, I am here. What is it?” He lowered his voice though he was alone.
“We have new buyers; Francis Odegbami.” (I mentioned that name in Chapter one)
“We’d discuss this better tomorrow.” With that, he cut the line and went back inside.
