The lights slowly panned down and focused on a man with warm chocolate skin and gorgeous intricate make-up. His hot pink dress sparkled with sequins and flowy chiffon fabric. It accentuated his curves, and his hair was up in an artistic updo that had streaks of bright pink through the sideswept bangs. He looked absolutely fabulous, and I lived for it.
He posed with one hand on his hip and his other one was draped along his forehead before the music started. He began to sashay down the long stretch of stage, lip-syncing to the song playing in the background.
V leaned over to speak into my ear, "Is that Michael's adorable boyfriend?"
I nodded and giggled, "Yes, isn't she gorgeous?"
"She is." V smiled and wrapped an arm around my waist, grazing his fingers along the side of my thigh.
