It was a bright Sunday morning, the weather so calm and beautiful. Arghh!! Mmachi screamed in pain, mama !! She called out for her grandma. She didn't know what's wrong with her but she was in pain, her back aches her waist was like something set on fire. Nneora rushed to her beloved granddaughter to know what happened to her, she noticed that she must be in labour. She called for help and a tricycle man was called to take her to the hospital. Luckily for them doctor Hillary just got to the hospital, she was rushed to the theater. Nneora is seen parsing around the hospital waiting room, praying for safe delivery for her granddaughter. She cursed the man who r***d her granddaughter and denied her. Few hours later the doctor came out smiling, congrats mama your daughter has put to bed. Praise the Lord!!! She shouted, how is my daughter? She asked, she's fine you can go and see her now. Nnem how are you feeling now? She asked fondling her shoulder, am fine Mama just that I feel slight pain in my abdomen. It will soon heal okay, hmm!! Such a beautiful baby, she's already a blessing; Nneora said to herself smiling. She went to the doctor's office to pay the hospital bill, when are you discharging us ? She asked the doctor. Let's see how tomorrow goes, you she's in pain now; by tomorrow I will check how she's coping . That's when I will know if you're going tomorrow. Mama, it was the lord's doing that your daughter delivered safely. She's too young to be a mother, am surprised she delivered normally. She needs a lot of care now, doctor Hillary said. Ummm...my son I know that my granddaughter is too young for this but the story is too long, it shall never be well with the young man that did this to her Nneora cursed under her breath. Nne it's okay, everything will be fine doctor Hillary consoled her. She thanked the doctor and left. After seeing her granddaughter, she left to get food and beverages for her. She came back later in the day to keep her company, some of Mma's friend came to see her in the hospital. Mma was grateful to God for blessing her with a grandmother like Nneora, her life would have been a mess or maybe she must have ended it herself.
