Ardala watched the as the door closed before she slipped into the water. There were jars along the edge of the tub that she poked her nose in. Strangely, they all seemed to be salt with various scents in them. The one that attracted her was the furthest one on the shelf, it smelled clean and fresh and not cloying like so many of the others. She added a healthy dose of the salt to the water and settled back to run the water over her body. It was soft and hot, and she immediately turned pink from the temperature. There were vents in the sea that did much the same thing, but this was infinitely nicer since it didn't smell like sulfur. She laid in the water and let it soothe her. She was still warm and heavy from kissing him on the Ferris wheel though he'd said it would fade. She would trust
