Within days, she discovered something strange.
The anonymous claims had all been submitted through the same financial network.
She contacted Amelia.
“I found something.”
“What?”
“The money used to create the false claims came from an offshore account.”
“Can you trace it?”
“Not completely.”
“Why?”
“Because someone keeps moving the money.”
Amelia told Damian.
He immediately contacted his financial team.
They began tracing the transactions.
After several hours, they discovered a company.
Its name was unfamiliar.
Blackstone Holdings.
Damian frowned.
“I've never heard of them.”
His lawyer searched the company records.
“It was created three months ago.”
“Who owns it?”
“That information is hidden.”
Amelia looked at Damian.
“Another mystery.”
He nodded.
“We'll solve it.”
That evening, Grace arrived at the mansion.
“I found the connection.”
Damian looked at her.
“What connection?”
“Blackstone Holdings is connected to someone who worked with Daniel Morgan.”
“Who?”
Grace handed him a file.
“His former financial adviser.”
Damian opened it.
The man's name was Samuel Reed.
“Where is he?”
Grace looked at him.
“That's the problem.”
“He disappeared two years ago.”
Amelia frowned.
“Then why is his company active now?”
Grace didn't answer.
Nobody knew.
But Damian had a feeling they were getting closer to the truth.
