Damian ordered his investigators to find Samuel Reed.
Three days later, they discovered a location.
A small office outside the city.
Damian and Amelia went there with security.
The door was unlocked.
Inside, everything was empty.
Files had been removed.
Computers were gone.
But Amelia noticed a photograph on the floor.
She picked it up.
It showed Samuel standing beside Daniel Morgan.
Behind them was a building.
Damian recognized it.
“The old Morgan headquarters.”
“Isn't that building abandoned?”
“Yes.”
They went there immediately.
The building was dark and silent.
Inside, Damian discovered a hidden office.
A computer was still running.
A single file appeared on the screen.

Amelia stared.
“What is that?”
Damian opened it.
The file contained information about their families.
But there was also a recent photograph.
It showed Amelia and Damian.
Taken only days earlier.
Someone had been watching them.
Suddenly, the computer screen went black.
A voice came from behind them.
“You should have stopped looking.”
Damian turned.
Samuel Reed stood in the doorway.
Amelia stepped back.
“Who are you?”
Samuel looked at her.
“I know your family.”
Damian stepped forward.
“What do you want?”
“Nothing.”
“Then why are you here?”
Samuel looked frightened.
“Because someone is coming.”
“Who?”
Samuel whispered,
“The Circle.”
Before Damian could ask another question, Samuel ran.
Damian chased him outside.
But Samuel disappeared into the darkness.
