Samuel's warning stayed in Damian's mind.
The Circle.
It was no longer a forgotten organization.
It was real.
And someone had brought it back.
Damian called Grace.
“I need everything you know about The Circle.”
She agreed.
That evening, Grace arrived with several documents.
“The Circle wasn't a company,” she explained.
“It was a private network.”
“Who founded it?”
“We don't know.”
“Who leads it now?”
Grace shook her head.
“No one knows.”
Amelia looked through the documents.
“Then how can we stop them?”
Grace pointed to one page.
“Every organization has weaknesses.”
She showed them a list of former members.
Most had disappeared.
One name remained active.
Jonathan Vale.
Damian recognized the name.
“Vale owns several international businesses.”
Grace nodded.
“And he's been quietly purchasing shares in companies connected to your family.”
Amelia looked at Damian.
“He's trying to take control.”
“Yes.”
Damian stood.
“Then I'll meet him.”
Amelia grabbed his arm.
“Be careful.”
“I will.”
“No. Promise me.”
Damian looked into her eyes.
“I promise.”
But Amelia could see the worry in his expression.
For the first time since their marriage, Damian had found an enemy he couldn't simply fight with money.
This enemy worked in silence.
And silence was dangerous.
