‘Your Honour, honourable judges, members of the jury, I would never have imagined that the Public Prosecutor’s Office would ask for such an exaggerated sentence! The Prosecutor obviously forgets that this isn’t America. The role of the Public Prosecutor’s Office is not to hunt for the "bad guys". No! It has a far more important role, a civil service, to seek the truth. It must pursue the truth even if, after the evidentiary motions, this involves declaring the defendant totally unrelated to the crime ascribed to him.
