The defence

The days leading up to the trial went by really quickly. Fabrizio and Riccardo decided on a precise schedule to be met, thanks to which they were both kept incredibly busy. Ferrari miraculously managed to fit his court hearings in with the rest of the defence preparation, while Tancredi had to get the hang once again of the copious Italian legal red tape, with the filing of various petitions, lists of witnesses and investigative work. By mutual agreement they decided Tancredi should stay overnight at Riccardo’s house until the end of the trial against Riccio.
