Einar As I drove away, all I could think of at that time was getting June back. That need fueled me as I drove to civilization, the one place I had sworn never to set foot on. It used to be home, the tiny town my father had insisted on staying in. Now that I look back, it may as well have been his pack, or close to that. There was so much I did not understand or know, but deep down, I knew June was more than just a random girl or wolf I had just met. I wanted to punch myself in the face several times for how slow I had been. Our meeting was by mere chance and the least I could have done was shoot my shot and wait for the results. Instead, I chose to drop hints, ‘Actions spoke louder than words’ they said- they lied or I was bad at the said actions.. But now I had lost a chance to show
