My body felt light,as the wind rushed on my face. The only sound I could hear was the loud rushing of water almost soothing me to sleep. Right! The water! The sound was getting louder and louder and we were obviously falling!
“Leenah! open your eyes!” I called out and our eyes were open, just as we hit the water with a loud splash. We had jumped off the cliff just as the hunter fired his gun and we were being carried under by the angry river currents. Swimming in my wolf form was rather difficult, especially against the turbulent currents. By sheer strength, we broke the surface of the water, gasping for air as we looked back up. The hunters were still looking down at me, guns and flood lights pointed down at the dark waters.
