I couldn’t risk my plans getting thwarted by a jealous mutt. I had done so much for my brother to become the next Alpha. My father, the previous alpha did not see the importance of family. He wanted a different future for our pack. That would mean that anyone would be able to ascend to the Alpha position when he died. He was already weak from losing our mother so clearly had no plans for his pack. He already couldn’t stand Chris and made it clear that my twin brother or I wasn't fit for running the Pack. He hated his own children and preferred the company of some dumb Beta who he had made clear would be the next Alpha.
